HIGHLIGHTS:  A 64-year-old guy in Iowa got arrested for sneaking onto his neighbors’ property and painting their plants.

FULL STORY:  I’m glad I don’t live next to this guy, but kudos for creativity:  A 64-year-old man in Iowa named Doug Kooistra is facing charges for painting his neighbors’ PLANTS.  (???)

He got arrested on Friday.  Police say there’s security footage of him walking onto the property and “applying paint” to some of their plants outside.  They estimated the plants were worth about $40.

It’s not clear if he’s got beef with them or what.  But it’s not the first time he’s vandalized someone’s property in a creative way.  Earlier this year, he got arrested three times in the span of six days.

We don’t know if it was the same neighbor or not.  But back in May, he dismantled someone’s porch lights, and turned on the spigots outside to flood their yard.

Cops think he also removed a bunch of flags that were part of a Memorial Day display.  Then he trespassed on someone else’s property . . . broke a motion-sensor light . . . and did the water spigot thing again.

He’s been dealing with multiple charges for all of that stuff.  Now he’s facing additional charges for painting his neighbors’ plants: trespassing and criminal mischief.
