1.  The movie “Titanic” . . . minus the present-day scenes and the credits . . . runs two hours and 40 minutes . . . the exact time it took for the Titanic to go down in 1912 off Canada’s East Coast.

The collision with the iceberg reportedly went on for 37 seconds . . . the same length as the collision in the film.

2.  Matthew McConaughey is terrified of revolving doors . . . Tyra Banks is terrified of dolphins . . . and Johnny Depp is terrified of clowns.

3.  No one born before 1816 ever appeared in a movie.  A woman named Sarah Whitley who was born in 1816 appeared in the first film ever in 1888.  It was called “Roundhay Garden Scene”.

4.  The killers in “Silence of the Lambs”“The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”, and “Psycho” are all based on the same serial killer from the ’40s and ’50s . . . a real guy named Ed Gein.  (His last name is pronounced “Geen.”)
