Here are some random facts for you:  Kenny Loggins fit the iconic “Caddyshack” line, “be the ball,” into BOTH themes he did for the movies.  And Ricky Gervais was in a new wave group in the ’80s called Seona Dancing.

1.  Kenny Loggins found a way to fit the iconic “Caddyshack” line, “be the ball,” into BOTH themes he did . . . for the original in 1980, and also for the horrendous sequel, “Caddyshack 2” in 1988.

2.  No one’s sure exactly which place in New Orleans was the inspiration for “House of the Rising Sun”.  There are theories it’s a hotel, club, restaurant, brothel, or jail.

3.  Ty Warner, the guy who created Beanie Babies, only got into the toy business after his acting career failed.

4.  Mel Brooks was a combat engineer in World War Two and fought in the Battle of the Bulge.  He got into comedy after he was discharged.

5.  Ricky Gervais was in a new wave group in the 1980s called Seona Dancing . . . and they actually had a song called “More to Lose” that was a huge hit in the Philippines.
