John Glenn  (1921 – 2016)  The first U.S. astronaut to orbit the Earth.

In 1998, Senator Glenn also became the oldest person ever launched into space, at 77.  He held that record until October of 2021 when William Shatner broke his record and reached the final frontier at age 90.

Hunter S. Thompson  (1937 – 2005)  Johnny Depp’s favorite author.  He wrote Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and The Rum Diary.

Hume Cronyn  (1911 – 2003)  Cocoon and *batteries not included.  He was married to his co-star Jessica Tandy.

Glenn Hughes  (1950 – 2001)  The original Biker in The Village People.  He was buried in his delicious Leatherman outfit.
